Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW) has announced the election of its 2011-12 slate of officers and a new member of the Board of Directors. John Moskos, President of Bank of America Central Florida, is the newly elected chair of the board; and the newly elected vice chair is David Ruiz, Florida district president for UPS. Rounding out the slate of officers is newly elected secretary E. Ann McGee, Ed.D., president of Seminole State College; returning as treasurer is James B. Cross, managing partner of Cross, Fernandez and Riley, LLP; and Robert H. (Bob) Brown, president and CEO of Heart of Florida United Way.
Newly elected to Heart of Florida United Way’s Board of Directors, serving a three-year term, is Randy Garfield, executive vice president of Worldwide Sales and Travel Operation for Disney Destinations and president of Walt Disney Travel Company. Garfield becomes the 30th community representative actively serving on the HFUW board.
